IUE-CWA Local 81255 represents employees at: 

• General Dynamics Mission Systems in Pittsfield, MA.
• General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Jericho, VT.  
• Williamstown Department of Public Works
• Pittsfield Emergency Telecommunications Dispatchers

Chartered in 1949 at what was General Electric in Pittsfield MA.  After being bought and sold by Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin, we finally ended up as employees of General Dynamics. Once having over 12000 members the Local shrunk to a low of about 30 members. We currently have 150 over members working at General Dynamics.

On October 1, 2024, we welcomed the addition of the Williamstown Department of Public Works Employees and Pittsfield Emergency Telecommunications Dispatchers into the Local 81255, bringing our total membership to over 180 members.
